Dr. Genise Fraiman brings over 20 years of medical expertise to Ascending Medicine. Since 2004, when she co-founded and built a premier private hospitalist group at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, she has worked on numerous boards and hospital committees to define best practices for inpatient medical care and establish hospital-based medicine as a specialty in the Beverly Hills community. This leadership and her ongoing work as a mentor to young physicians has enabled Dr. Fraiman to form close ties to outpatient and hospital-based doctors throughout Los Angeles.

Inspired by the desire to fulfill a growing need for patient-centered care, Dr. Fraiman has dedicated the last decade to a focus on concierge medicine. This began when she partnered with Dr. Andrea Feinberg to refine personalized medicine in Southern California and continued with her work at Private Medical, prior to opening Ascending Medicine.

Originally from the East Coast, she received her Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of New York, Buffalo and her M.D. from Albany Medical College. Dr. Fraiman completed her Internal Medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
